Avoid driving downtown / Pike Place / Capitol Hill -- opt for public transportation or bike rentals (Seattle has plenty of bike-friendly and bike-only paths)
Go for Space Needle & Chihuly Garden & Glass combo ticket -- worth it
Make advanced reservations for restaurants in Pike Place and Capitol Hill, especially on weekends
Seattle is a beautiful city -- walk the neighborhoods of North Capitol Hill, Queen Anne, and Magnolia just to see beautiful homes, gardens, and parks
Take the Link rail from the airport -- often far better and sometimes faster than driving or taking a rideshare into the city
